- The participant must be Omani currently working in the Governmental sector in urban planning or relevant fields.
- The participant must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- BETA Experience within 1 - 5 years in the urban planning filed
- ALPHA Experience within 6-15 years in the urban planning filed
-English proficiency both written and spoken
• Admissions requirements
- Approval from participant’s employer :
Applicants must obtain the support of their Supervisors and or Institution to participate. The Supervisor/Institution needs to endorse the applicant’s suitability for the program; approve time away from work to attend the modules; and travel abroad.
- Program commitment:
The program requires a significant time commitment over the course of 6-8 months. Participants will be required to attend and complete all modules, including study trips abroad.
- Program participation fee:
The Program is funded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning sponsors all tuition fees, learning materials and administration, including travel and accommodation costs for modules taken overseas only. The Daily allowances/ per diems for out of the Sultanate will be covered by the Participant’s Employer (The ministry is not responsible for any accommodation or travel expanses needed for attending the modules in Muscat).
